Police nabbed a welder, tagged as the No. 8 most wanted person (station level), for two drug cases in Taguig.
The Taguig police identified the arrested suspect by his alias Filsan, 33, a resident of Barangay Central Signal, Taguig, on Jan. 3.
He was apprehended in Damayan, Zone 1 in Central Signal by personnel from the Taguig police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued in two criminal cases for violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Marivic Vitor of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 266 on Sept. 29 last year.
After the arrest, the suspect was brought to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital for physical and medical examination.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director of the Southern Police District, commended the operating unit.
