NCR's No. 5 most wanted person for statutory rape arrested in Taguig
The Taguig police arrested a man who was tagged as the No. 5 most wanted person of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for statutory rape.
The suspect, alias Leonardo, was nabbed on Jan. 2 by operatives from the Taguig police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section based on a warrant of arrest for a case of statutory rape issued on Dec. 9 by Presiding Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69. No bail was recommended.
After the arrest, the suspect was brought to the Taguig–Pateros District Hospital for the required physical and medical examination.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director of the Southern Police District, emphasized the importance of decisive police action against offenders who prey on minors.
The Taguig City Police Station continues to intensify its manhunt operations against wanted persons to ensure public safety and the protection of the most vulnerable members of the community.
