The Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno has issued guidelines for devotees who will attend Mass on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, as part of the ongoing activities for Nazareno 2026.

Motorists passing through Quiapo or traveling southbound are advised to expect heavy traffic, due to the continuous flow of devotees attending hourly masses from 5 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Authorities remind the public to cooperate and observe the guidelines to ensure a safe, orderly, and solemn religious observance.
For devotees attending Holy Mass and entering the church, the designated route is as follows:

From Plaza Lacson to Carlos Palanca Street

Proceed to Villalobos Street

Continue until Plaza Miranda and the Quiapo Church

For devotees coming from the western and northern areas:

They may pass through Rizal Avenue

Proceed along Carriedo Street

Up to Plaza San Juan Bautista only

For devotees coming from the northern area or España Boulevard:

They may proceed from Quezon Boulevard toward Quinta Market

Enter Villalobos Street leading to Plaza Miranda or the Church

Devotees may also remain outside the church along Quezon Boulevard

Designated EXIT routes for devotees in the Carriedo and Plaza San Juan Bautista areas include:

Evangelista Street

Palma Street

Plateria Street

Padre Gomez Street

Sales Street

Estero Cegado

All exit routes will lead toward Recto Avenue and Rizal Avenue.
