Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the CENRO Task Force conducted mopping and flushing operations along major thoroughfares across the city in the early hours of Jan. 1.
Olivarez said the CENRO team, headed by Bernie Amurao, carried out mopping and flushing operations in Baclaran, Quirino Avenue, Himlayan Palanyag, Dr. A. Santos Avenue, and Gatchalian Avenue, covering areas from Barangay San Dionisio to Barangay BF Homes.
He said the immediate cleanup drive aimed to remove debris, dirt, and residues left after the festivities, helping restore road safety and protect public health.
The operation also underscored the city government’s commitment to environmental protection and the overall well-being of every Parañaqueño.
The city government reminded residents that maintaining cleanliness is a shared responsibility and continues to encourage proper waste disposal and self-discipline to help keep Parañaque clean, healthy, and safe.
