Man hit by stray bullet on New Year's Eve in Cainta

A 32-year-old resident of Cainta, Rizal was hurt after being hit by a stray bullet during New Year's Eve last Dec. 31, the Cainta Municipal Police Station reported.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim, identified as "Mark," was sitting outside his home in Barangay San Andres when he felt a sharp pain on his right mid-section caused by an alleged stray bullet.
Mark was quickly rushed to the Cainta Municipal Hospital to receive treatment.
According to the victim's attending physician, the bullet just grazed his body which led to bruises on the right side of his body. He is now in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the police are still determining the source of the bullet as well as the identity of the person who shot it.
