K-pop idol group BTS will be making their much-awaited comeback on March 20.
Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced on Jan. 1 that BTS will release a new album on March 20, Korean media reported.
This will be their first full-group album release in about three years and nine months, since their anthology album "Proof" in June 2022.
To mark the new year of 2026, BTS sent handwritten letters to ARMYs (fans) to express their gratitude for their unwavering support.
The letters, dated "2026.3.20," announced their comeback.
RM wrote, "I've waited for this comeback more earnestly than anyone else."
Jin said, "Thank you so much for waiting," while Suga added, "Let's have fun together this year too. Let's love each other."
J-Hope continued, "What I've been thinking about has finally become reality," and Jimin said, "The year we meet has arrived."
V said, "2026 will be filled with even more wonderful memories, so please look forward to it." Jungkook added, "I miss you! Please take care of us this year too."
Fans who didn't receive the letters will be able to check out the same messages on the fan platform Weverse later this month.
