K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR, composed of Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, unveiled a track spoiler video for their upcoming mini-album “No Genre,” set for release on May 13.
The preview offers a glimpse into a new set of emotionally unfiltered and musically versatile tracks that stay true to the group’s relatable and instinctive style.
The video opens with “Step by Step,” a breezy city-pop track layered with smooth synth melodies and polished rhythms, capturing the feeling of a fleeting season you wish could last just a little longer. The tone then shifts with “Next Mistake,” a groove-driven song tinged with melancholic undertone, where the member’s distinct vocal colors highlight the bittersweet emotion woven into its subtly funky beat.
In a witty scene, the members call an elevator, only to find other members already inside, singing and dancing to the upbeat “Is That True?” The lighthearted moment matches the song’s bouncy, funk-infused rhythm.
“123-78” is a romantic nod to classic '60s pop-soul, performed on a retro-style stage complete with mic stands and vintage flair.
The final spotlight lands on the title track “I Feel Good,” co-written by Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak, with a scene set inside a library.
Demonstrating the group’s self-driven artistry, Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak contributed to the majority of the tracks, with Woonhak participating in every track on the album.
In the lead-up to the release, BOYNEXTDOOR also revealed a three-part concept series—‘No Matter,’ ‘No Route,’ and ‘No Limiteach offering a fresh, genre-free take that underscores the group’s unbounded creative identity.
They are continuing to build global momentum as the first K-pop act to serve as official global ambassadors for the Men’s Volleyball World Championships.
