After days of evading the law, another suspect in the theft of P4 million worth of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) funds was finally arrested, the Eastern Police District reported on Thursday, May 1.
The suspect was identified as alias "CV," 22 years old, and a resident of Barangay Bambang, Pasig City.
Based on the police report, CV was arrested after witnesses positively identified him as the accomplice of alias "Jomar," who was first arrested on April 28, as those responsible for the crime.
Arresting officers recovered P860,000 from the suspect, saying it was part of the stolen funds.
The police are still trying to trace the rest of the missing money.

Jomar and JD also stole several CCTV cameras to cover up their tracks. They escaped using the tricycle driven by Jomar.
The SK officers reported the crime to the police after discovering the cash vault containing the funds to have been destroyed.
