13 4Ps beneficiaries hired in Labor Day job fair

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A total of 13 4Ps beneficiaries were hired on the spot during the 123rd Labor Day job fair in a mall here.

4Ps applicants were hired on the spot during the 123rd Labor Day Job Fair spearheaded by DOLE-9. (DOLE-9)

The applicants were among 500 exited and exiting 4Ps beneficiaries who were chosen to participate in the job fair by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The successful applicants were hired by private companies such as Cebu General Services Inc., Jolly Management Solutions, KCC Mall, and 3ME Manpower Services.

In his welcome message, DOLE-9 Regional Director Albert Gutib encouraged job applicants.

"Be confident, be prepared, and be hopeful. The job you are looking for might just be found today," he said.

The job fair is an annual activity by the Department of Labor and Employment to assist jobseekers in finding employment opportunities through on the spot job matching and career services.

The theme for this year's Labor Day is "Manggagawang Pilipino, Kagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas."
