School head killed in Leyte accident

TACLOBAN CITY – A 46-year-old school head  was killed in a car accident on Wednesday, April 9, on the Abuyog-Silago Road in Barangay Nebga, Abuyog, Leyte.

Investigation said  the victim was on board a car driven by Jiboy, 52, farmer, and a resident of Barangay Canipaan, Hinunangan Southern, Leyte when Jiboy lost control of the vehicle, went into the opposite lane, and hit the concrete barrier.

Jiboy, Marie, and a 13-year-old boy sustained injuries. Marie was taken to a hospital in Abuyog where he was declared dead.

The victims were on their way from Hinunangan, Southern Leyte to Tacloban City when they figured in the accident.
