Kevin Quiambao delivered yet another impressive performance as the Goyang Sono Skygunners rallied to stun the Changwon LG Sakers, 101-99, for their third consecutive win in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Tuesday, April 8.
Down by 23, 44-21, at 7:32 mark of the second quarter, Quiambao and the Skygunners regained their consciousness and gradually got back into the contest before Alan William capped the team’s furious comeback with a putback with barely a second left.

With 0.4 second left, the Sakers made a desperate effort to snatch the win but they missed a potential 3-point shot.
The two-time UAAP MVP chipped in a team-high 25 points with four rebounds, two assists, and one block while Williams registered 12 points. Lee Jong-Hyun and Lee Jae-Do combined for 29 points for Goyang.
It was Quiambao’s fourth consecutive game with twin-digit scoring – his 20th overall in the Korean tournament.
The Skygunners improved to 19-35 at eighth spot.
Changwon sorely missed the service of an injured Carl Tamayo and slipped to 34-20 to remain a second.
