The presidential sister told the Manila Bulletin during an interview that the farmers and the fisherfolks deserve to receive aid from the government.

“Magtulungan tayo. Hindi importasyon ang solusyon. Ang solusyon ay tulungan ang sariling magsasaka, unahin ang Pilipino, (Let’s help each other. Importation is not the solution. The solution is to help our own farmers, prioritize the Filipino), the senator said.

Marcos appealed to the Rizal farmers to coordinate their concerns with the local government for them to avail of the services that her office has been offering such as the E-Kadiwa or the Enhanced Kadiwa that sells the produce of local farmers.
