Marcos to gov't agencies: Hindi dapat matulog kahit Holy Week
Citing the possibility of crimes, President Marcos has ordered enforcement agencies to not stop monitoring during the Holy Week, reminding them to not sleep on the job amid the holidays.

We know that there are time when we cannot avoid possible actions, crimes and we should not sleep, that is the directive of the President)," Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said in a briefing on Tuesday, April 8.

Castro said Marcos ordered agencies to ensure the safety and convenience of all the passengers this Holy Week.
There was a directive to the DOTr to intensify their monitoring for the approaching exodus of passengers to their respective provinces)," Castro said.
"At sabi nga po, nagbigay po ng order ang ating Pangulo hindi lamang po sa DOTr pero sa mga (And the President also gave an order to) attached agency po to ensure the safety and convenience of all the passengers who will be travelling to their hometowns or will have vacations," she added.
