Did actors Daniel Padilla and Kyle Echarri fight over Kathryn Bernardo during the ABS-CBN Ball 2025?

After last Friday's glamorous celebration of ABS-CBN Ball 2025, rumors surfaced that Kapamilya actors Daniel Padilla and Kyle Echarri allegedly fought over Kathryn Bernardo.

The rumors went viral, but there is still no confirmation of the alleged brawl's authenticity.

Unconfirmed reports indicated that Kyle was allegedly intoxicated at the party and became overly familiar with Kathryn. Daniel reportedly grew upset and tried to intervene. Kathryn was the former girlfriend of Daniel.

JK Labajo reportedly stepped in to support Kyle, while Richard Gutierrez did the same for Daniel.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Daniel and Kyle nearly fought, but cooler heads prevailed. Additionally, two other actors also got into a fight at the same event.

This event has seen a fight before; Coco Martin and Matteo Guidicelli confronted each other in 2011.

Reports stated that Coco and Matteo fought at the Manila Peninsula Hotel. Matteo allegedly became jealous of Coco after he worked with his rumored girlfriend, Maja Salvador, in the series “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”

Action genre

With the success of their action drama series “Incognito," Daniel is still getting used to being called an action star.

During the press conference held at the Seda Hotel in Quezon City on April 7, Daniel shared what made him embrace the action genre.

“This genre is new to me and na-enjoy ko siya, wala akong iniisip na action star kasi it’s just a role also. (This genre is new to me and I enjoy it, I don't think about the action star because it's just a role too)," he said.

The Kapamilya actor mentioned that this project helped him discover more about himself and his craft.

“Nagustuhan ang genre na ito kasi ang dami kong natutunan sa sarili ko, minsan nasusubukan ko yung sarili ko hindi ko alam kung kaya ko ba, sinasagad ko yung sarili ko na kaya ko pala.(I appreciate this genre because I've learned a lot about myself. Sometimes I test my limits, unsure if I can succeed, but I always prove to myself that I can)," he added.

Daniel humorously notes that his fascination with the action genre came from his mom, Karla Estrada.

“Siguro nasanay ako sa nanay ko na laying aksyon (laughs) natuto ako umilag ganon kapag may binabato siya.(Maybe I got used to my mom taking action. (laughs) I learned to dodge when she throws things)," Daniel added.
