Cops seize P1.7-M shabu, arrest two drug peddlers in Caloocan sting

Operatives of the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) seized an estimated P1.7 million worth of shabu and arrested two suspected drug peddlers during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 28, Caloocan City.

CCPS Chief Col. Edcille Canals identified the suspects as “Ronald,” 43, and “Ferdinand,” 43, both residents of Antipolo, Rizal.


According to the police report, the anti-drug operation was carried out around 4:01 p.m. on Monday, April 7, resulting in the suspects' arrest.


Confiscated from them were approximately 250 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P1,700,000, a cream-colored belt bag, and the buy-bust money.


The arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
