Police seized P516,256 worth of shabu from three suspects in two buy-bust operations in Baliuag and San Jose del Monte (SJDM), Bulacan, on Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4.

Bulacan Police officer-in-charge Col. Franklin Estoro said that the SJDM-Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay GraceVille on Friday, where they arrested the Mangoda crime group leader identified as Nassep Mangoda, 22, and his cohort “Tipie,” 26.
Authorities confiscated eight sachets of shabu worth P136,000, two .45- pistols, both loaded with 18 live ammunition, and the buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, Baliuag-SDEU conducted an entrapment operation at around 5:20 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion on Thursday, which led to the arrest of suspect “Jeff”.
Confiscated from the suspect were seven plastic sachets of shabu valued at P380,256, and the buy-bust money.
Authorities said the arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002, and RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), and B.P. 881 (Omnibus Election Code) in relation to Comelec Resolution No. 10728.
Estoro said the intensified operations were part of the campaign against criminality amid the preparations for the 2025 midterm elections.
