CEU equips guidance counselors on handling student learners from diverse family backgrounds

Centro Escolar University (CEU) engaged guidance counselors from various junior and senior high schools in a hybrid seminar-workshop titled “Student Learners from Non-Traditional Family Structures: Different Stalks, Different Strokes” at the Bulwagang Maestra Osang in CEU Manila.

Mary Ann Rafols, the resource speaker, led an interactive session and shared case studies, providing participants with practical approaches, and best practices to address the unique challenges faced by students from non-traditional family structures.

Through this initiative, CEU continues to promote student well-being and support, which is the guidance counselors vital role in shaping a nurturing learning environment.

The event was organized by the CEU Marketing Communications Department, under the leadership of Dr. Ma. Eleanor C. Espinas, the MCD head, and Jhorizza Palma, PR and Events marketing assistant, in collaboration with the CEU Guidance and Counseling Department, headed by Dr. Juana Rosa Martinez.
