2 helpers dead in Nueva Vizcaya road mishap

SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya – Two helpers were killed and their driver was injured when their truck rammed a tree in Barangay Bangar, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya on Friday. 

Police Sgt. Dennis Balaog, Solano police station investigator, identified the victims as Edison Agumboy and Roldan Castro, residents of Barangay Abian, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.

The injured as identified as Hernani Mayangao,  driver and resident of Barangay Abian, Bambang.

Investigation said Mayangao lost control of the truck while traversing the slippery road due to rainfall.

The victims were stuck inside the truck and sustained serious body injuries. They were declared dead in a hospital. 

The driver was also injured and recuperating in the hospital. 

Police advised motorists to take extra precaution while traveling on the national highway in their town, particularly during rainy weather.
