Authorities seized P1,498,040 worth of shabu from a high-value female suspect and a 19-year-old man in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Malabon and Valenzuela City.

On Saturday, April 5, a joint operation conducted by the Northern Police District-District Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DDEU), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Sub-Station 4 of the Valenzuela City Police Station resulted in the arrest of “Gio,” 19.
Gio was arrested along Baltazar Street in Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City. Confiscated from him were approximately 115 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of P782,000.
Authorities also recovered a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver with an unreadable serial number and three live rounds from the suspect.
They said a formal complaint is being prepared against the suspect, who will be charged with violating the Dangerous Drugs Act, Firearms Law, and the Omnibus Election Code before the Valenzuela City Prosecutor’s Office.
Meanwhile, in Malabon City, a 44-year-old high-value female drug pusher was arrested by the Malabon City Police Station-Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tonsuya on Friday, April 4.
Authorities identified the suspect as “Negra.” Confiscated from her were one medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet and one knot-tied plastic bag, both containing suspected shabu. The seized drugs weighed approximately 105.3 grams, with an estimated value of P716,040.
The suspect is currently detained at the Malabon CPS and is facing drug charges.
