3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rain showers across the Philippines on April 5
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday, April 5, that three weather systems are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain showers over various parts of the Philippines.

In its weather forecast, PAGASA said the northeasterly windflow is affecting extreme Northern Luzon. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting southern Mindanao, while the easterlies are influencing the rest of the country.
According to PAGASA, the Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
The northeasterly windflow will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA also warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.
