Cops net man who stabbed stepson dead, hurt live-in partner in Pampanga
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police apprehended a man who allegedly killed his stepson and assaulted his live-in partner during an altercation in Lubao, Pampanga before dawn on Thursday, April 3.

Police Regional Office-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo identified the suspect as Harold.
Investigation said the suspect physically assaulted his partner inside their house at around 4:30 a.m.
She fled to safety and returned home and found her two-year-old child unconscious.
The suspect appeared and attacked her as she attempted to retrieve the boy. The victim was inadvertently stabbed by Harold with a bladed weapon during the commotion.
The boy and his mother were taken to the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital in Guagua, Pampanga where he was declared dead and his mother received immediate medical attention.
Police launched a pursuit operation that led them to the house of the suspect’s uncle, Ronald, also in Lubao, at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
Police nabbed Harold along with his uncle for preventing his arrest. Recovered from Harold was a grenade and two mobile phones.
Harold faces homicide, frustrated homicide under Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act), and illegal possession of firearms, ammunition, and explosives cases. His uncle faces charges for obstruction of justice.
Fajardo commended operating units for the swift arrest of the suspect.
“This case serves as a tragic reminder of the dangers of domestic violence, but it also highlights our determination to act swiftly and decisively. No crime will go unpunished under our watch. Our personnel will remain relentless in ensuring that perpetrators are brought to justice, and that every Kapampangan feels safe in their own home,” Police Col. Jay Dimaandal, Pampanga police chief, said
