Woman drug peddler arrested in Pasay City

A woman drug peddler was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Drug Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during a buy-bust operation and confiscated from her P104,040 worth of shabu on April 29.

Col. Joselito de Sesto, Pasay City Police chief, identified the suspect as alias “Babs,” 41. She was arrested at around 11:30 a.m. in Road 4, Pildera 2, NAIA, Barangay 193, Zone 20, Pasay City.

De Sesto said confiscated from the suspect were about 15.30 grams of shabu worth P104,040, the buy-bust money, and drug paraphernalia.

He said the confiscated shabu was brought to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for examination.

Babs was detained at the SDEU custodial facility and charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
