Malacañang has belied the memorandum circulating online which hinted a change in leadership in the House of Representatives, following recent survey results impacting President Marcos' trust ratings and administration candidates' poll rankings.

In a statement on Wednesday, April 30, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin categorically denied the authenticity of the memo, saying it is a blatant attempt to peddle disinformation.
Bersamin added that the fake memo is a "handiwork of malicious minds."
"The Office of the Executive Secretary categorically denies the authenticity of said memorandum. Apparently the spurious memorandum is a blatant attempt to spread disinformation and to sow division in the ranks of the administration candidates," Bersamin said.
"It should be dismissed as the handiwork of malicious minds," he added.
According to the Palace official, it has come to their attention that an internal memorandum purportedly issued by the Executive Secretary has been circulating on social media.
The document was detailing a discussion of a survey presentation and hinting at a change in the leadership of the House of Representatives.
