Muntinlupa fire station gets 10 new motorcycles

The Muntinlupa City government donated 10 FAST (First Aid Service Team) to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Muntinlupa Fire Supt. Rowena Gollod attended the blessing of the motorcycles on April 28.

“Mga 400cc ang mga motorsiklong ito—mabilis at kayang makaresponde hindi lang sa masisikip na lugar kundi pati na rin sa mga expressways kung saan kailangan ng mabilisang aksyon. Bahagi ito ng drive natin na paigtingin pa ang serbisyo ng BFP, lalo na sa mga emergency situations (These motorcycles are about 400cc—fast and capable of responding not only to congested areas but also to expressways where quick action is needed. This is part of our drive to further enhance BFP services, especially in emergency situations),” Biazon said.

He said the motorcycles are the latest addition to the city government’s assets to ensure fast, orderly and effective response to situations.

In addition, the newly renovated conference room of the fire station was opened for command coordination, training, and planning
