SM Development Corp. (SMDC), the residential arm of Sy-led SM Prime Holdings Inc., has launched a new program, Move In Now, to entice buyers for its ready-for-occupancy (RFO) units.
In a statement, the firm said the program is available until the end of April 2025 and allows qualified buyers of RFO units to move in within 90 days upon reservation in fully furnished condo units for only five-percent spot down payment.
It added that only a limited number of units are included in this offer, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Every unit under Move In Now comes fully furnished through Good Stays, SMDC’s in-house styling program through partnerships with SM Home, Our Home, Ace Hardware, and SM Appliance.
Under this program, buyers can choose from multiple furnishing options, allowing them to personalize their space for maximum comfort or rental potential.
Good Stays allows SMDC buyers to include furnishing costs in the total contract price of the unit, enabling them to pay for both the unit and furnishings in installments. SM affiliates also offer discounts to SMDC buyers to make home furnishing more affordable.
“Today’s homebuyer wants speed, ease and value—and Move In Now delivers all three. We’re not just handing over keys—we’re handing over a fully realized living space, thoughtfully designed and ready from day one,” said SMDC Executive Vice President Grace M. Sta. Ana.
For Filipino buyers, move-in is possible with a five-percent spot down payment, followed by five percent in 12 months, and the remaining balance via bank financing or cash payment.
SMDC also provides structured bank loan assistance to facilitate home financing for its property buyers, particularly during the transition from monthly payments to bank financing for remaining balances.
Meanwhile, foreign buyers can avail of the offer with just 10-percent down payment, with in-house financing options available as well.
