Man nabbed for causing commotion, disobeying authorities in Tondo


A man was arrested for making a commotion and disobeying the barangay authorities in Tondo, Manila on Monday, March 31.

The arresting authorities identified the suspect as "Nelson," 24.

The operation was launched after a concerned citizen reported Nelson for shouting at bystanders along B. Serrano Street. in Barangay 158.

Witnesses said Nelson got furious and yelled offensive remarks at the local authorities after trying to approach and calm him, prompting them to begin the apprehension.

Nelson ignored the arresting officers and forcibly repelled them.

The authorities then successfully apprehended the suspect.

He is currently under the custody of the Manila Police District- Tayuman Police Community Precinct and is facing charges for violation of Article 155 (Alarms and Scandal) and Article 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority) of the Revised Penal Code (RPC). (Vincent Brian Gutierrez)
