P1.6-M shabu seized, 2 suspects nabbed in Dasmariñas, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities seized P1.6 million worth of suspected shabu and collared two high-value individuals in separate buy-bust operations in Dasmariñas City.

In a sting operation in Barangay San Agustin 2 on Wednesday, April 2, operatives from the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station (CCPS) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 4A apprehended alias Alvin.

Confiscated from his possession were illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P1,020,000.

In another operation in Barangay Burol Main, Dasmariñas CCPS arrested alias Barok who yielded P646,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Both suspects are now under police custody and are facing drug charges.

In a statement, Police Regional Office 4A director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T. Lucas commended the hard work of the operating units.

He also stated that the consecutive accomplishments in the fight against illegal drugs are the result of the dedication of the police, along with the support of the community.
