2 men arrested for stealing pork cubes, liempo in Manila store

Two men were arrested for stealing meat products, including pork cubes and liempo, inside a mall grocery along Pedro Gil Street in Paco, Manila, on Sunday, March 30.

According to the Manila Police District's (MPD) initial investigation, while the security guard was patrolling the store, she saw the suspects, "Andrew" and "Jeffrey," conspiring to steal over a kilo of pork cubes and liempo worth a total of P756.

The security guard immediately confronted and arrested the two suspects, bringing them to the store's security office before requesting police assistance.

The suspects are currently detained at the Ermita Police Station and have been charged with qualified theft.
