WTFu by MR. FU: Here comes …The FU-tok show!

  • The FUtok show on TikTok is every Monday and Thursday, 11:45 p.m. to 1:15 a.m. (i-FUtok mo na yan!)

One of the things that makes me busy nowadays is my live selling events for brands on TikTok (para sa kumikitang kabuhayan!) I enjoy this new opportunity because I still consider it a hosting gig, but this time with a selling component. (thank you sa mga brands ha! nandito lang ako!)

With this exposure on TikTok, a group of producers offered me another show. This time, it’s about love and relationships, and there is no live selling involved. (Live seller na! Love adviser pa!) This concept of the show is not new to me. For 15 years, my radio show was about “love advice with an okray twist” (feeling love guru na nagka-libro pa ha!)

I remember my very first episode on the radio. When a listener messaged me on the station's text line, my boss asked me to do the usual reading of sponsors and time checks. Carlo of Paranaque requested love advice for his problem. He had two girlfriends and got one pregnant. (na di naman daw nya mahal!) I told him I don’t give love advice, but he flooded the text line with his request. (ang kulit ni koya!) I took the chance to say my piece on-air (pinagalitan ko sya ng bongga!) The next day, the boss decided to give me a love advice show. (yung kailangang okray with love daw!)

I stopped doing this kind of show two years ago, when I left the radio industry...(bilang may masamang ugali akong na encounter!) But I quickly said yes when the TikTok show was presented to me. (bilang may bayad yan ha!) I told them to call the show: The FUtok show! (Anyway, I call my live selling viewers, kaFUtok! For FU and TikTok)

The FUtok show airs live twice weekly on my TikTok account, @mrfu_mayganon.

We already have three episodes (bongga ang mga viewers and sponsors!). Our segments include my love advice for viewers who message their love problems, an interaction with the viewers for their opinions, and a live video chat. (aliw itong bigla nalang may umaappear na tao!) However, we will be launching more segments in the future. (walang basagan ng trip rito!)

My radio assistant, Emily, is no longer part of the show.(bilang part time nalang sya sakin at umaattitude na!) But I have assistants in the show. (keri kaya nila powers ni Emily? bawal pashonga shonga!)
