San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora on Tuesday, April 29, showcased one of the city's newest infrastructure projects under his administration, aimed at enhancing better services for San Juaneños.
Zamora said he recently inspected the ongoing construction of the National Government Center (NGC) located in Barangay St. Joseph.
Once completed, the 812-seating capacity NGC will be the venue of different city government activities such as State of the City Addresses, graduation ceremonies, trainings, seminars, concerts, plays, and others
This will also house the new barangay hall of St. Joseph as well as a wooden basketball court.
Offices of different national government agencies will also be built here to bring their services closer to San Juaneños.
Continue the legacy
The mayor attributed the construction of the facility through the collaborative efforts of the city government officials as he called upon residents to support his slate in the upcoming May midterm elections.
"Ito po isang patunay kung gaano kahalaga na ang mayor, congresswoman, vice mayor at mga konsehal ay nagkakaisa at nagtutulungan. Napakarami nating mga proyekto at programa na magagawa na tunay na papakinabangan ng ating mga mamamayan (This is proof of how important it is that the mayor, congresswoman, vice mayor, and councilors are united and working together. We have so many projects and programs that can be implemented that will truly benefit our citizens)," Zamora explained.
