Man shot to death by riding-in-tandem gunmen

SANTO TOMAS CITY, Batangas – A man was shot dead by unidentified riding-in-tandem gunmen in a subdivision in Barangay San Vicente, this city, on Monday morning, April 28.

Police identified the victim as Jovan Bombales Cantuba. 

Investigation said Cantuba was driving a motorcycle when two men onboard a motorcycle appeared and the back rider shot him.

He died on the spot.

The driver was wearing a helmet, pants, and shoes, and the back rider was clad in a white helmet, blue long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and shoes.

Police recovered three caliber .45 shells in the area.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
