Man dies during DSWD payout in Marikina

The Marikina City Police confirmed on Tuesday, April 29, that a 20-year-old man died during a payout event organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at the Marikina Sports Center. 

 

Authorities said the man, whose identity was not disclosed, was waiting in line for the payout on Monday afternoon, April 28.

 

While in line, they said the man suddenly lost consciousness. He was immediately rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, where he was later declared dead.

 

The attending physician confirmed that the man died of natural causes.
