GMA-7 artist and TV host Dingdong Dantes posted photos of him meeting with Aquino for merienda, wherein he recalled about their schooldays when they used to call Aquino “Bam-bam.”
He also referred to the former senator as his “good friend and one of my mentors in public service.”
“Since 2014, we’ve stood side by side advocating for youth-centered policies and even hosted a few shows together over the years — #DongBam Assenshow!,” he wrote.
“But beyond all that, what I’ve always respected and admired about Bam is his integrity, consistency, clear vision, and a track record that speaks for itself — all anchored by a genuine heart for service,” Dantes added.
During their meetup, the actor said he personally wished Aquino well and asked about how he’s doing with the final stretch of the campaign coming up.
Pangilinan also received fresh backing from Anne Curtis, Janine Gutierrez, Jake Ejercito, and John Arcilla, who also all endorsed Aquino’s senatorial bid.

Curtis and Gutierrez reposted a video of Pangilinan on their separate Instagram accounts. In the video, the former senator urged his volunteers and supporters to campaign more in the next days.
Curtis reposted the video reel and added “#51 po!!!,” referring to Pangilinan’s ballot number. She also wrote, “Let’s go Tito @kiko.pangilinan,” tagging Megastar Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan’s Instagram handle.
Gutierrez also went on her Instagram broadcast channel “channel.nine” to talk share that she would be voting for Pangilinan this coming May midterm polls.
She wrote, “happy sunday everyone (white heart emoji) guys lapit na ng elections!!! have you made your lists?” She then shared a video ad of Pangilinan, adding “my senator! #TapatAtTotoo.”
Ejercito’s social media accounts also showed support for the former senators.
“Para sa bawat hapag at sa kabataan, KIKO-BAM!,” his post read, followed by the images of Pangilinan and Aquino.
Arcilla, a multi-awarded veteran actor, posted on his X (formerly Twitter) that he would be voting for Pangilinan and Aquino.
“Kumbinasyon ng mga Subok na at Bagong Malinis ang Record. Para sa mga Estudyante, mga Guro, Magsasaka, Manggagawa, mga Barangay at Propesyonal, Para sa naghihirap na Bayan (Combination of tested and with a clean track record. For the students, teachers, farmers, laborers, baranggay personnel, professionals, for the suffering country),” he wrote.
His post was accompanied by the photos of Pangilinan, Aquino, and senatorial candidates Heidi Mendoza and Luke Espiritu.
With Election Day coming up, both Pangilinan and Aquino are calling on their supporters to convince more people to vote for them, as well as conduct house-to-house campaigns and join postering activities.
