Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung appearing in Hollywood film 'From the World of John Wick: Ballerina’

Korean actress Sooyoung, a member of K-pop group Girls’ Generation, will be making her Hollywood debut. 

Sooyoung will be appearing in the film “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” that is set for release on June 6. 

On Instagram, Sooyoung posted a photo of her character in “Ballerina,” which was also posted by the official account of the movie.

In the movie, Sooyoung will play the role of Katla Park, the daughter of Il-sung, a collaborator of Ruska Roma. Katla Park is a ballerina and assassin who is protected by Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas). 

“Ballerina” takes place during the events of “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.” In the film, Eve Macarro begins her training in the assassin traditions of Ruska Roma. 

“Ballerina” also stars Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian Mcshane and Keanu Reeves.
