ILOILO CITY—First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos launched the “Lab for All” medical outreach program of the Marcos administration in New Lucena town, Iloilo province on Tuesday, April 29.

Around 3,895 beneficiaries availed of free medical checkup, eye checkup, laboratory tests, and free medicines.
With the Ilonggo roots of her father, the First Lady made sure that Iloilo is included in the Lab for All program.
“I always consider Iloilo as my second home,” she told the crowd in New Lucena.
She said that her father was born in Iloilo City where she is a law professor at West Visayas State University.
The First Lady was joined by Secretary Teodoro Herbosa of the Department of Health (DOH), Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Iloilo Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr., and Mayor Liecel Mondejar-Seville of New Lucena.
Services for the medical outreach were led by DOH and its attached agency PhilHealth as well as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Land Transportation Office (LTO), National Housing Authority (NHA), Public Attorney's Office (PAO), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Senate Public Assistance Office also provided services.
