His supporters in Sydney, Australia also held a walk dubbed as “Step to Good Governance” from Milsons Point Station to Observatory Hill Park over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Aquino credited his supporters and volunteers after he entered into the winning circle of recently concluded pre-election surveys.
“Tuwang-tuwa kami sa balitang iyan. Nagsimula kami last year, ang baba namin. Pero sa sipag, tiyaga, at sa pagkayod, pag-ikot sa buong Pilipinas, pakikipag-usap sa mga kababayan natin, pumapasok na sa Top 12 (We are very happy with that news. When we started last year, we were very low [in survey ranking]. But because of hard work, patience, and effort in going around the Philippines, talking with people, we are now in the Top 12),” he said.
“Itong huling dalawang linggo, tuluy-tuloy lang kami sa pagsisipag pa, pagpapakilala pa at pagkuwento ng mga nais naming gawin para sa bayan (These remaining two weeks, we will work harder to introduce and talk about what we want to do for the country),” he added.
The Bangsamoro Party, the political party of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), was the latest to endorse Aquino as announced by Bangsamoro Labor Minister and Bangsamoro Party leader Muslimin Sema.
The former senator thanked the Bangsamoro Party, which has some 500,000 documented members of the BARMM, and promised to push for policies that will bring progress and development of the region.
