"To my dearest Sharon, Happy anniversary, my sweetheart! Even though I have had my share of challenges, I must say our 31 years of being together and our 29 years of married life have absolutely been all worth it. As I said before, if it were only up to me, I would marry you over and over again now, before, and forever.
"God, our Almighty Father, has truly been an awesome, faithful, and miraculous Father, and I thank Him for you, my answered prayer.
"I look forward to many, many more years of loving you deeply, laughing with you hilariously, being silly with you endlessly, and being by your side. I love you, my dearest Sharon, and will do so now, forever, for all time," he wrote.
