Eager to bounce back from a 0-2 deficit in their best-of-five semis series, the Sonicboom shifted to higher gears in the third quarter where the lead ballooned to 30, 64-34, enough to take the fight out of the Knights.

After cutting Seoul's lead to 2-1, Suwon is aiming to level the series in Game 4 Tuesday, April 29.

Despite committing five turnovers, JD Cagulangan brought decent numbers on both ends for Suwon with seven points, two rebounds, six assists and two steals in 28 minutes of action.

So far, Cagulangan continued to prove why he’s the Rookie of the Year as he averaged 7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals in his last three games in the semis.

His fellow former University of the Philippines Maroon Juan Gomez de Liano was sidelined in the game.

Pacing the Sonicboom’s offense was Rayshaun Hammonds who notched a double-double output of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Veteran Heo Hoon and Moon Jeong-Hyeon added 17 and 13 points, respectively.

Jameel Warney led Seoul with 19 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and one steal, while Oh Jae-Hyun backstopped him with 13.

Meanwhile, Carl Tamayo and the Changwon LG Sakers go for a closer against the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus in Game 4 Monday, April 28.
