2 decomposing bodies found in Rizal

The two decomposing bodies found in Barangay Silangan near the boundary of San Mateo and Antipolo. The police said the victims' hands were tied upon being discovered by a concerned citizen.

Two decomposing bodies with their hands tied were found in a remote area near the boundary of San Mateo and Antipolo City in Rizal Province on Friday afternoon, April 25, the police confirmed.

The authorities said on Monday, April 28, that the two bodies were first discovered by a concerned citizen passing through the area and smelled the foul odor emanating from there.

He quickly informed the officials of Barangay Silangan who reported the incident to the police.

The police said they have already identified the identities of the cadavers and launched a follow-up operation and investigation to know the motive of the crime and arrest those who are behind it.
