The Police Regional Office-3 led by Police Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for signing Republic Act No. 12177 or the Free Legal Assistance for Military and Uniformed Personnel Act on April 15.

Fajardo said the law will protect lawmen facing cases in the performance of their duties.
(This law shows that policemen are not alone in their duty to uphold the law)
Fajardo also thanked lawmakers for passing the law.
