A total of 91,375 residents of Malabon City received the 12th tranche of cash assistance under the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program, on Saturday, April 26.

"Ito na ang ika-labingdalawang tranche simula nang inilunsad ang programang ito. Sa pamamagitan ng Blue Card, ating mas napabilis at naging mas organisado ang pamamahagi ng tulong para sa mga Malabueño. Mas marami na rin ang naging benepisyaryo at nabigyan ng tulong (This is now the twelfth tranche since this program was launched. Through the Blue Card, we have made the distribution of assistance faster and more organized for the people of Malabon. More beneficiaries have also received aid),” City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete said.
“Kaya naman sa panahong ito, makasisiguro ang lahat na mas palalakasin pa natin ang programang ito upang mas maraming serbisyo at benepisyo ang mailalapit natin sa mga Malabueño (That is why at this time, everyone can be assured that we will further strengthen this program to bring more services and benefits closer to the people of Malabon),” he added.
According to the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Office, MABC beneficiaries can withdraw or claim their cash aid starting April 26 at 9 a.m. until May 1 at 11:30 p.m. at any BankNet-powered ATM or any Universal Storefront Services Corporation (USSC) branch nationwide.
Beneficiaries may also use their Blue Cards to pay directly at restaurants, fast-food chains, or stores equipped with Point-of-Sale (POS) machines.
The city government advised that qualified beneficiaries will receive a text message from USSC prior to claiming their aid. The MEAL Office will also release the list of qualified MABC holders via a link posted on their official Facebook page.
Residents were reminded to take good care of their Blue Cards, keeping them safe from damage or moisture, to avoid any issues when claiming their assistance.
Meanwhile, individuals with concerns such as lost or damaged cards or forgotten PINs are advised to visit any USSC branch in the city or the MABC Office located on the fourth floor of Malabon City Hall for assistance.
MEAL also clarified that during this distribution period, only the regular financial assistance will be released, excluding the benefits under the MABC Eskwela Savings Program intended for Grade 1 students.
Additionally, MEAL announced that the P5,000 Hospital and Burial Aid for selected applicants will begin distribution on Monday, April 28.
"Nawa’y magamit ninyo ang tulong na ito sa inyong mga pangangailangan. Asahan ninyo na ang pamahalaang lungsod ay palaging bukas upang umalalay sa inyo (May you use this assistance for your needs. Rest assured that the city government is always ready and willing to support you),” Rosete said.
