Hometown hero Mark Barroca joined hands with Ian Sangalang, Zav Lucero and Paul Lee to send the Fuel Masters crashing back to earth while also keeping their pristine record through four games into the conference.
Sangalang was a force inside the paint finishing with 20 points while Barroca did a little bit of everything with 18 points, six rebounds, five assists.
Lucero also sustained his fine play with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds while Lee also chipped in the same scoring output for the Hotshots who have now taken the early solo lead in the standings.
The Hotshots led by as many as 28 points in the contest that saw them gradually take control through the first two quarters of the game.
Phoenix did everything in its power to keep itself in the game but Magnolia simply had answers to its every run.
Kai Ballungay had 25 points to lead the Fuel Masters while another hometown bet RR Garcia also had an inspired play with 22 points.
