Vice President Sara Duterte attended the campaign rally of Manila mayoral candidate Isko Moreno in Tondo, Manila, on Thursday evening, April 24, but did not officially endorse the latter's quest to return to the nation's capital.

In her speech, Duterte thanked Moreno for giving the "Duter10" senatorial slate a platform to campaign in Manila.

The Vice President did not officially endorse Moreno, but said it would be okay for her if Moreno becomes president.
"Tanggalin ko lang (sa podium) po yung seal ng aking opisina, paltan natin ng seal ng Office of the President. Tinanggal ko lang kasi... Iba kasi yung opisina, iba rin yung pangangampanya (I'll just remove the seal of my office from the podium and replace it with the seal of the Office of the President. I removed it because... the office and campaigning are different)," she said.
"Pero kung sa pangulo lang, pumili na lang kayo— si Isko Moreno o si Sara Duterte, wala kaming problema (But if it's just about the president, just choose—either Isko Moreno or Sara Duterte, we have no problem with that)," she added.
Joining Duterte were PDP-Laban candidate Jimmy Bondoc and Senator Imee Marcos, whom she officially endorsed after the lady lawmaker bolted from the administration-backed Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial slate.
Aside from Marcos, Duterte also endorsed Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, completing her 12 senatorial bets in the May 12 polls.
Meanwhile, in a press briefing on Friday, April 25, Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro had two words for the Vice President as her camp ramped up their campaign.
"Good luck," she said.
