The Taguig City government feted the top 100 taxpayers during its 2025 Beacon Awards held at the Grand Hyatt Manila as part of its 438th founding anniversary.
The event was organized by the city’s Business Permits and Licensing Office to recognize the tax contributions of businesses last year.
“Every peso you contribute is transformed into countless opportunities. But beyond the numbers and accomplishments, what we value the most is the spirit of collaboration that ties us together,” said Mayor Lani Cayetano.
The city government gave special distinction to the top 10 taxpayers. These were Futurenet and Technology Corp., Lazada E-Services Philippines Inc., Therma Luzon Inc., PH Global Jet Express Inc., G-Xchange Inc., Unilever Philippines Inc., Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation, Delivery Hero Philippines Inc., Nissan Philippines Inc. and Makati Development Office.

Fluence Energy Philippines was given the Trailblazer Award for its early adoption of Taguig’s eBOSS—the city’s business one-stop-shop permitting system.
The Biggest Mover Award was given to Futurenet and Technology Corp., Delivery Hero, and Frontier Tower Associates for demonstrating the most significant improvements in their taxpayer rankings compared to the previous year.
Next year, the city government will launch the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award to honor companies that contribute to community development and sustainability.
"You are our partners. That’s the only way our country can reach its full potential. So I believe, at the very least, we owe you a voice. So please, keep being persistent,” said Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, the husband of Mayor Cayetano.
