Prime Video announces global premiere of film 'Heads of Stateâ€™

Prime Video revealed the global premiere of the action film "Heads of State" starring Idris Elba, John Cena, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The movie will debut on Prime Video on July 2 and is directed by Ilya Naishuller, known for "Hardcore Henry" and "Nobody."

“Heads of State” promises a thrilling blend of explosive action and sharp comedic banter. The story follows the US President (Cena) and the UK Prime Minister (Elba) as they set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy, with the help of a brilliant MI6 agent (Chopra Jonas).

The film also features Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, and Paddy Considine.

"Heads of State" is a nostalgic nod to the golden era of buddy action comedies, combining fast-paced action sequences and creative stunts with 90s charm.

It reunites Cena and Elba since their collaboration in "The Suicide Squad."
