SM Supermalls, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), will conduct nationwide job fairs on May 1 in celebration of Labor Day to provide thousands of employment opportunities for Filipino job seekers.
The job fairs, scheduled in 20 SM malls across the country, underscore the shared commitment of the public and private sectors to expand livelihood access and support national employment goals.
These will take place in SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Center Las Piñas, SM City East Ortigas, SM City Marikina, SM City Sucat, SM City Grand Central, SM City Baguio, SM City Tuguegarao, SM City Cabanatuan, SM City Olongapo Central, SM City Pampanga, SM City San Jose del Monte, SM City Taytay, SM Center San Pedro, SM City Sto. Tomas, SM City Roxas, SM City Bacolod, SM Seaside City Cebu, SM CDO Downtown Premier, and SM City Davao.
Activities will begin at 10 a.m., with thousands of vacancies offered in key sectors such as retail, customer service, logistics, and hospitality, featuring on-site resume submissions and direct employer engagements.
To ensure a smooth application process, government agencies—including the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and Pag-IBIG Fund—will be present to assist applicants with employment documents and mandatory registration.
SM Supermalls has also renewed its partnership with Jobstreet by SEEK to enhance the job-matching experience through a hybrid platform that integrates digital tools with face-to-face interactions.
Follow-up job fairs will be held at SM City Valenzuela on May 2, SM City Lucena on May 22, SM City Dasmariñas on May 29, and SM City Trece Martires on May 30, bringing more employment opportunities closer to communities nationwide.
