The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation officially opened the new Lingunan Southbound Entry Ramp in Valenzuela City on Tuesday, April 22, as part of efforts to ease traffic congestion in several key barangays.

The 491-meter entry ramp is a joint project of NLEX, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, and the Valenzuela City government.
It is expected to significantly reduce traffic volume along the Paso de Blas Road–East Service Road Interchange.
Authorities estimate that the new ramp will divert around 32 percent—or roughly 5,255 vehicles—from the current daily volume of 16,421 motorists using the route.
The new access point is expected to benefit approximately 386,000 residents and over 9,600 business establishments in Barangays Lingunan, Veinte Reales, Lawang Bato, and Paso de Blas.
This development is part of the city’s broader traffic management initiative under the Valenzuela Life advocacy, which aims to enhance residents' quality of life by improving mobility and easing congestion. (Jhoana Mae Delfin)
