Marcos signs law declaring March 21 yearly as special non-working holiday in Calapan City
President Marcos has signed a law declaring March 21 of every year as a special non-working holiday in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

Marcos signed Republic Act No. 12158, declaring March 21 annually as a special non-working holiday in Calapan City for the commemoration of its charter anniversary.
"March 21 of every year is hereby declared a special non-working holiday in the City of Calapan, Province of Oriental Mindoro, in commemoration of its Charter Anniversary," the law stated.
The act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed by the House on Nov. 21, 2022. It was amended by the Senate on Dec. 17, 2024, and its amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on Jan. 21 this year.
It was signed by the President on April 11.
It shall take effect 15 days after its publication.
