Fisherman yields P6.8-M shabu in Zamboanga City buy-bust

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A fisherman tagged as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kasanyangan here on Tuesday, April 22.

Police Lt. Aldazer Sahisa, team leader of Special Operations Unit-9, identified the suspect as Marjan Arani Diejo, 32, a resident of Barangay Sangali.

Seized from the suspect were a plastic sachet of shabu weighing approximately one kilo with a street value of P6.834 million and marked money.

Diejo was turned over to the Zamboanga City Police Station 6.

The contraband was taken to the Special Operations Unit 9 for proper disposition.

Diejo is facing drug-related charges.
