The Caloocan City government officially opened its fourth Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) located in a mall in the city on Wednesday, April 23.

The initiative aims to streamline business-related services, including the application for permits and licenses, making them more accessible for residents and entrepreneurs.
According to the Public Information Office, this move is part of the city’s commitment to support local businesses and ease the process of investing in Caloocan.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan thanked business owners for their continued trust and support.
"Inumpisahan po natin ang pagtatayo ng mga business one-stop-shop sa iba't ibang mall upang maging mas madali ang pagnenegosyo para sa mga namumuhunan na nagtiwala sa atin (We have begun establishing business one-stop-shops in various malls to make doing business easier for investors who have placed their trust in us),” he said.
He added that these centers reflect the city’s appreciation for entrepreneurs and their confidence in local leadership.
The newest BOSS operates from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other BOSS locations include Metro Plaza Quirino, Zabarte Mall, and Metro Plaza Bagong Silang.
The city government has earned praises from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the Caloocan City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (CCFCCI), and other groups for its pro-business policies.
The city was also recognized as one of the Most Business-Friendly Cities in the country.
Malapitan reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the city’s business climate.
"Every year, we aim to be better than before, to make the City of Caloocan a more business-friendly city than the previous year," he said.
"Hangga't may paraan, hangga't makakaya ng pamahalaang lungsod, patuloy po naming pagagandahin ang ating serbisyo upang mas maging magaan ang pagnenegosyo sa Caloocan (As long as there is a way, and as long as the city government is capable, we will continue to improve our services to make doing business in Caloocan easier and more efficient),” Malapitan added.
The mayor also reminded government employees to maintain the city’s brand of public service—one that is proactive, sincere, and people-centered.
"Ang palaging bilin ko naman sa ating mga kawani, maglingkod tayo nang may ngiti at malasakit sa lahat ng Batang Kankaloo (My constant reminder to our personnel is to serve every Batang Kankaloo with a smile and genuine compassion),” he said.
